Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma (Chief Minister of Assam on Ku) launched this micro-blogging app by posting it on the first Assamese post.

He wrote, ‘I am happy to see the introduction of Assamese language only after coming to the Ku app. The people of Assam will be able to connect with the social media platform in their mother tongue. I have got the opportunity to interact and connect with the people of my state in the local language.
