Blaupunkt launches 32-inch to 55-inch smart TVs in India starting at Rs 14,999

Blaupunkt CyberSound Series smart TVs have been launched in India. Its price starts from Rs 14,999. The new TV series includes four models from the company in sizes from 32 inches to 55 inches, and resolution options from HD to Ultra-HD. Compared to other TVs available in this price range, the company has claimed to deliver better and louder sound output in this series. The Blaupunkt CyberSound series runs on Android TV for smart connectivity. It is ready for sale on Flipkart from July 10. Blaupunkt televisions are manufactured in India by Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SPPL). This original equipment manufacturer is also known for manufacturing TVs in India under the Kodak and Thomson brands.

Blaupunkt Cybersound Series Smart TVs Price and Availability

The Blaupunkt CyberSound range has four models with different prices depending on the size and specification- 32 inch HD (1,366×768 pixels) Rs 14,999, 42 inch full-HD (1,920×1080 pixels) Rs 21,999, 43 Inch Ultra-HD (3,840×2,160 pixels) Rs 30,999, and 55 Inch Ultra-HD (3840×2160 pixels) 40,999 Rs. All TVs in this range will be available for sale on Flipkart from July 10 and will come with a one-year warranty.

The new range from Blaupunkt will go up against strong competition in the affordable TV segment from various brands including Xiaomi, Vu, Realme, TCL and Samsung. However Blaupunkt will hope that the specifications and especially the sound output and sound quality claims will help differentiate the Cybersound range.

Specifications and Features of Blaupunkt Cybersound Series Smart TV

As the name suggests, the Blaupunkt CyberSound Series promises better sound. These televisions in the series have sound output ratings that are much higher than similarly priced competitors. The 32-inch and 42-inch televisions have a rated sound output of 40W. The 43-inch model has a sound output of 50W while the 55-inch model has a sound output of 60W. Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround and Dolby MS12 technology is also supported in the two Ultra-HD variants.

Apart from sound, the Ultra-HD variant has support for HDR content up to HDR 10+ format. All TVs in this category come with Android TV 10 as well as access to the Google Play store for apps and content. With Android TV, the TV also has built-in Google Chromecast and access to Google Assistant for voice commands. RAM and internal storage are given separately according to the variant. In which the flagship 55-inch model is paired with a quadcore processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage for apps and app data.

Blaupunkt CyberSound TV also comes with Bluetooth, HDMI and USB connectivity. Plus there’s support for Apple AirPlay and a peak refresh rate of 60Hz across the entire TV range. TV models are reported to have peak brightness of up to 450 nits, depending on size and type.
