Vi has announced that prepaid and postpaid customers can now book vaccination slots available through the Vi app on both Android and iOS platforms. To provide this facility to the customers, the company has integrated VI App and CoWIN App. Vi customers can easily search available slots by entering their age group, dosage, free/paid and vaccine name fields such as Covishield, Covaxin, or Sputnik Vi etc. After getting the slot, you can book your slot only through Vi App.
How to Book Vaccine Slots on Vi App
The network provider has simplified the way for its customers to get vaccination slots, so that they can avoid the dreaded pandemic like COVID-19. Let us know what you need to do to book a vaccine slot from the Vi app on your smartphone.
First of all, open the Vi app on your phone.
After this you have to click on the Get Yourself Vaccinated Today option, which you will find at the bottom of the screen.
Now users will have to enter their location to search the slot, in which you will have to enter your district, state and pincode information.
Now users have to enter their age group like 18-44 / Age 45+ to search the slot. Then you are looking for which dose 1st or 2nd, which vaccine do you want Kovishield/Covaxin/Sputnik V and you can apply filters like free or paid… after which they will be asked about the vaccination slots available through the app in their mind. Information will be available accordingly.
After applying all the filters you have to select the date on which you want to take the vaccination.
– The Vi app will then redirect you to the CoWIN portal for final confirmation.
