Reliance had announced in the last AGM that it would launch a cheap 5G smartphone in India with the help of Google and now an affordable 5G phone is going to be launched in India with the help of Google and Jio. According to the report, the phone will be given a custom Android operating system or it may come with Android One, which is for entry-level smartphones.

At the same time, it is being said in some reports that the Snapdragon 480 5G processor can be used in this phone, which is Qualcomm’s cheapest 5G chipset. Apart from this, if rumors are to be believed, a 2.4-inch TFT display will be given in Jio’s cheap 5G phone, which will come with 320X240 resolution. The phone will come with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. As a camera, this phone has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 2000mAh battery.
However, the company has not yet confirmed any feature of the phone. The 5G phone is expected to be an entry level phone and not a feature phone. As per the report, the phone is unlikely to have many additional features, but the phone will reportedly support apps like Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp natively.

How much will the price be?
The price of Jio Phone has not been disclosed yet, but analysts estimate that the price of the smartphone could be under Rs 2,500. At the same time, initial estimates suggest that the phone can be available for Rs 2,500-5,000.
