It has 3 far-field microphones and a 2-stage mic mute switch. It uses a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor with 1.8GHz speed. It uses version 5.0 Bluetooth and 802.11ac standard dual-band WiFi. It is included with capacitive touch control with three touch zones and in-built Chromecast for streaming purposes.
Google has stated that it has spent more than 500 hours in tuning to produce a clear-sounding speaker. It has used clothes and other speaker materials in such a manner for optimum performance. The Smart Speaker Media uses the EQ feature. This will adjust the audio based on your content type. It will also adjust the sound of the material based on your atmospheric noise. The speaker allows stream transfer from one Google Home or Nest speaker to another. It also provides multi-room control.
The Nest Audio speaker uses a dedicated ML chip, which was used in the Nest Mini last year. Like the Nest Mini, the Nest Audio speaker is also made of durable fabric design.
Price statement
The smart speaker will be available for $ 99.99. The Indian price of the speaker has not yet been revealed by Google. From October 5, Google Nest Audio will be available for sale in countries such as the US, India and Canada. It will be available for sale from October 15 in 21 other countries. The company stated in its post that it will soon be available at Flipkart and other retail stores in India.
