U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng is going to be fired, The Times newspaper reported without attribution. Kwarteng has flown back from Washington, D.C. early from the International Monetary Fund meeting. U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss is due to hold a press conference later on Friday, as bond yields fell on expectations the government will announce more reversals of its tax cuts. A new chancellor would be the fourth in four months.
