Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalize divorce and begin life as South Florida neighbors

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady may have just finalized their divorce, but the erstwhile couple will remain in close proximity when in Florida. In fact, they’re practically going to be neighbors.

The supermodel, 42, has snapped up an $11.5 million waterfront home on Surfside’s Biscaya Island, right across the bay from the under-construction megamansion that she and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback were building on Indian Creek Island.

The A-list former couple paid $17 million for a plot on the ultra-exclusive island — also dubbed the Billionaire Bunker — in late 2020, before razing an existing home to make way for a mansion that’s being characterized as eco-friendly.

Brady, 45, is believed to be keeping that property, according to the New York Post’s Page Six site, which first reported the news of Bündchen’s nearby acquisition.

Her new home spans 6,600 square feet and is described as “architecturally unique,” with its steeply pitched cantilevered roofline, and a “perfect family home” in the listing with Joel Lusky and Shneur Shapira of the Brokerage South Florida Real Estate. They did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The six-bedroom spread was built in 1981 and boasts high ceilings, large living spaces and massive terraces, according to the listing. There’s also a home theater, an office, a dock, a gym, a playroom and views of the waterway and, of course, Indian Creek Island.

Bündchen — who announced her divorce with Brady was finalized on Oct. 28 — closed on the property on Oct. 6, property records show. She used a trust, of which her twin sister, Patricia, is listed as the trustee, for the buy.

Her representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
