Billionaire tycoon Elon Musk, who wants to one day build a human settlement on Mars and make humans a multi-planetary species, is celebrating his 50th birthday today, June 28. Fans and supporters are celebrating the occasion by sharing social media posts wishing the CEO. Happy Birthday to hugely successful ventures like Tesla and SpaceX. Many of his supporters include Dogecoin investors who refer to him as “The Dogfather”. But he is equally opposed in the crypto world by bitcoin investors, who blame him for the recent market crash.

Despite the love-hate relationship, the South African-born American industrial engineer is most widely appreciated for his foresight and ingenuity. Elon Musk was among the first to wish his mother, who shared an old photo of a baby Musk in her arms and thanked him for bringing so much joy to her over the years.

Billy Marcus, the software engineer who co-created Dogecoin, also congratulated him and wrote, “Thank you again for making the space cool and enjoying the dog money I did years ago”. Marcus tweeted under the pseudonym “Shibetoshi Nakamoto”, a reference to the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of bitcoin. Musk, who has spoken about his plans to launch Tesla in India soon, also received well wishes from thousands of others, including Indian fans, some of whom found interesting and fun ways to share their thoughts.

One such user, Anubis_blaze, who claims to be a “huge fan from India”, shared a picture of Musk and wrote, “Love your work…” (Love your work)

Another user shared a short video montage of Musk’s achievements that began with the landing of two reusable rockets back on Earth. There were other examples of Musk’s successes in the video.

Musk, born in 1971, showed early talent in computer and video games, and had coded a video game by the age of 12. He later acquired a Canadian passport due to greater economic opportunities in the United States.
