Disney extends CEO Chapek's contract three years

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday said he would consider testifying before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. “If there was an invitation to participate, I would consider it,” Pence said at an event in New Hampshire, according to NBC News video. But he also said he would need to weigh such an invitation against the “unprecedented” nature of a vice president testifying before Congress. The panel has heard from former Trump aides who told lawmakers the ex-president poured “gasoline on the fire” by tweeting condemnation of Pence’s refusal to go along with his plan to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
