said Wednesday it will assist with travel expenses of U.S. employees for covered health care services after the Supreme Court’s ruling on abortion.

“We believe that all of our U.S. employees are entitled to consistent and safe access to the benefits already covered by our health care plans. That’s why BP has decided to assist with travel expenses for covered health care services that cannot be obtained near where an employee lives,” the oil company said in a statement.

BP is the latest company offering to cover travel costs for employees who need to cross state lines for medical care. Procter & Gamble Co.
