Disney extends CEO Chapek's contract three years

Former U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter, who served under President Barack Obama, has died at 68. Carter, the nation’s 25th defense secretary, died Monday in Boston after “a sudden cardiac event,” according to reports citing his family. Carter served as deputy secretary of defense from 2011 to 2013 before taking the top job at the Pentagon.
