Disney extends CEO Chapek's contract three years

President Joe Biden told Chinese President Xi Jinping that the U.S. has objections to Beijing’s “coercive and increasingly aggressive actions toward Taiwan,” in a meeting between the two leaders in Bali, Indonesia, the White House said Monday. Biden also raised concerns about China’s “non-market economic practices,” the White House said. Last week the U.S. Treasury reiterated a call for increased transparency from China about its currency practices, and kept Beijing on a list of major U.S. trading partners whose currency practices and economic policies warrant “close attention.”
