Indian prolific middle order batsman Suresh Raina improves his ranking by climbing up 15 places to earn a spot into the top 10 of Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI batsmen. Raina has claimed the said spot for the very first time in his whole career due to his mind-blowing performance in the last home series against England.

Raina was eventually named the man-of-the-series in the just-concluded five match ODI series against England. Raina breaks into the 10th spot of the ranking list with his career best 669 rating points in the latest ranking released on this Monday only. It has to be mentioned here that Raina scored 277 runs with a terrific average of 92.33 in the last series.

Another member of Indian Cricket Team Rohit Sharma has also improved two places in the ranking list to be at 54th spot. Rohit only played two matches against England and scored 87 runs with an amazing (match-winning too) fifty while batting as an opener for Team India.

Raina is not the lone batsman inside the top 10 batsmen list, who has improved his ranking. The captain of England Cricket Team Alistair Cook has also gained one place to 7th in the list. Cook’s form is quite phenomenal in all formats of the beautiful game of Cricket.

South African batsmen have dominated the batting table again. South Africa’s opening batsman Hashim Amla has topped the coveted list of batsmen and his own teammate AB de Villiers followed him to earn the 2nd place. India’s future captain hope Virat Kohli has held his 3rd position in the list. The top three batsmen are hanging there for a few times now.

Both of the India’s young pace-duo Ishant Sharma and Bhubaneswar Kumar have improved their ranking in the bowlers’ list in the latest Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI Bowlers’. Ishant Sharma gained 17 places to 50th spot while Kumar climbed a huge 31 places to 73rd in the list.

Pakistan’s spin-maestros Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez have claimed the top two spots of the bowlers’ list yet again.

Ravindra Jadeja of India has made all-round gains in the latest released ranking list on the bank of his all-round performances in recent times. He has climbed up nine places to be at 56th in the batting table while he has broken into his career best 8th in the bowlers’ list by gaining 15 places with the help of his best ever 663 rating points. Recent good all-round performances of Jadeja have helped him to move up two places to 5th in the all-rounders table.

Pakistan’s T20 skipper Mohammad Hafeez has topped the all-rounders list and he has been followed by Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in 2nd place. It’s a very good thing to see that the Asians are dominating the top places of the list of all-rounders.
