Lau informed users on his official Weibo account that the company would not launch OnePlus 8T Pro with OnePlus 8T.
He also mentioned in his post that launching a mid-year upgrade would not be a good decision. This is because the OnePlus 8T is a flagship phone in its own right and comes with all the features they have to offer. Keeping this in mind, the company decided to postpone the launch of OnePlus 8T Pro.
This means that the company will release only OnePlus 8T this year. The good news is that it is also a flagship model which is scheduled to be released on 14 October.
The company also announced the launch of another new phone in the Nord series. However, it is an affordable phone and not a flagship model. However, the launch date of the phone has not been confirmed by the company yet.
